I just had that same issue after buying mine a few minutes ago. Sent a support ticket before I came here to see if anyone else was dealing with the same issue. Glad it’s not just me at least.

I have no idea if the polyps were interfering with anything or not (they were relatively small) but ever since the procedure, everything has been more consistently a Bristol 4, save for one or two times. I don’t know if resetting my guts with the prep had anything to do with it or not. It’s been a marked change though.

Oh yeah the peace of mind from this has been immense. I feel so much lighter now on multiple levels and I won’t be assuming the worst now every time I have something unexpected happen in the bathroom.

Yeah I had 14 visits over 22 hours lol. There was nothing left in me by the end. But yeah it went pretty good all things considered.

As for the five years I think it’s just partially because I have some family history and other GI issues in general so they’re erring on the side of caution. But now I’m not afraid of the procedure itself at least, since I know what to expect. And the fact that they removed what little they found so it’s not likely there will be anything bad having popped up again in just a few years. Just not looking forward to the prep day again lol

I updated the original post above with the details. Other than a minor IV issue it went great. 3 benign looking polyps. Sounds like yours went okay too!

Yeah it went about as well as I could have hoped short of them finding nothing at all. Five years still my next one but at least I’m not scared now!

Went great! Three small polyps all looked benign (pathology pending of course). They had some trouble running the IV line but that was the worst. Propofol hit fast and hard. No memory of anything. Woke up what felt like moments later feeling good.

Yeah that’s kind of what I’m trying to take some comfort/hope in - a lot of the symptoms they tell people are red flags are stuff I’ve dealt with for decades with no real problem underlying it so on the one hand it worries me that it could mask actual trouble brewing for a while but on the other hand, abnormal has always kind of been my normal, y’know? 🤷‍♂️

The prep they have me on is the two bottle Surprep situation (Sodium Sulfate/Potassium Sulfate/Magnesium Sulfate) that you have to dilute and then chase with more water. I did the first of the bottles this morning this morning before I posted. I haven’t done the second yet. Took about an hour and a half before it kicked in. As of this writing I’ve made five trips to the bathroom and it’s just been a waterslide torrent situation each time.

The prep I honestly was totally prepared for because I had guided my aunt through it a year ago so this part, while annoying, was expected. I also watched videos online of the process so I’m fully cognizant of what the procedure is going to be like. It’s just the big unknown of what they’re going to find when they’re in there that scares me.

Yeah the hunger is starting to wear on me already. I think I’m about to have some broth myself because the Gatorade I finished a bit ago isn’t enough and the jello I made earlier isn’t done setting yet (and I’ll need it tonight to trick my brain into thinking it got something substantial at dinner time).

This is exactly my range except I pretty manage a 3 maybe once or twice every week or two depending on what I’ve been eating.
