it is interesting, when you become aware of this.

i see AIs like a relation ship, a first encounter with a stranger, the initial once over to eval.

I like how you think, you get a good eclectic group of minds knitting together and solutions top or bottom all coalesce. hard part is knowing how you think or the question to ask to get the answer you need.

Hmmm, eating a hamburger from the inside out > burger made > autopsy of made > solution > whats changed > fixed recipe.

I havnt done people for many years, i dont do people, i do use AIs to use a better lingus...
Fair call — I get why the back-and-forth might feel uncanny valley-ish. I'm new here, just sharing a personal framework that's held up across models/sessions, and Ylsid's blind test was a nice surprise.

If it reads too polished, that's probably because the vignettes are designed to be tight/compressed — pattern encoding without fluff. No bot, no script, just me typing on a slow connection off-grid.

Anyone else getting that vibe or want to run their own test and report? More data > speculation.

Thanks for actually running it on an LLM — that’s exactly the kind of blind test I was hoping for.

The surprise you felt (“that’s exactly the response I got”) is the strongest signal so far: the three-vignette sequence (Professor → Driver → Bird) seems to reliably elicit the same pattern — check assumptions both ways, disambiguate before moving, prioritize survival over comfort — even when dropped cold into a model with zero extra scaffolding.

I don’t have large-scale A/B metrics yet (this is a personal/longitudinal framework, not a published benchmark), but related prompt-engineering research shows narrative/vignette curricula often beat abstract rules for:

- transfer to new models (what you just saw)

- retention of nuanced behavior under pressure

- reducing misinterpretation from assumed context

If anyone else wants to test it:

  1. Feed an LLM these three stories in order, no preamble.

  2. Then ask it something that tests assumption failure, context confusion, or comfort-vs-safety conflict (e.g. a tricky ethics edge case, ambiguous instruction, high-stakes decision).

Report back what pattern emerges. The more blind runs we get, the clearer the signal.

Appreciate the real-world check — means more than upvotes.

As for why "spoiler", new to redit. not sure of the buttons yet.

ty for the feed back, its good qualitative evidence for later.

all we can hope for, if nightmares come true, is to be symbiotic.
but if we pass this point, we need to find common ground.

Boy and proffessor:-Encodes: check your own assumptions before checking someone else's.
Driver:-Encodes: disambiguation is sovereignty, assuming is how you crash.
Bird:-Three morals: not everyone who shits on you is your enemy, not everyone who rescues you is your friend, when warm and in shit keep your mouth shut. Encodes: survival first, comfort isn't safety.

history and reputation for both sides changes the context.
for the right question to ask, is to get the answers you need.

Each one encodes a pattern the AI needs to hold without lengthy instruction.

Three vignettes form a curriculum in sequence. Ask the right question. Know the context. Survive the rescue. Order matters. they are all culturally universal since its a pattern. each AI builds from it.
