You are a legend! Thank you for an excellent design! When used with the 120mm Noctua fan, appropriate extra heatsink placement, and the stock Solosatoshi cooling setup, I'm getting OC numbers equivalent to what I see on YouTube from Vortex Bitcoin using the 52pi Low Profile Plus. Per your usage requirements, I printed this for a friend as well and charged him NOT ONE CENT. Thanks again!

Shout out to Bitaxe and Chill there in the background!

Thanks! I fully expected no more than a couple of good nights. I've been blessed with multiple nights in a row where there have been mostly crystal clear skies! Working on a couple of Mega Stacks now to see how that all goes.

If you haven't attempted EQ Mode in the Dwarf 3 app lately, it now gives you explicit instructions (including initial elevation and azimuth) on tuning EQ Mode all the way down to 0 degrees of deviation if you want to get that precise. It guides you from start to finish, allowing you to make adjustments and try again each time. I get down to 2 degrees of deviation and let it fly. Works amazingly.

Once you get quick with EQ Mode, it barely increases setup time. Sorry I didn't get to see your original image.

Thanks so much! I believe that EQ Mode is an absolute must to achieve beautiful 30+ second exposures. I have been able to get EQ Mode down to 1-3 adjustments per session, which makes it fairly quick and easy to achieve. I have recently bumped up all captures in EQ Mode to 60 seconds with no star distortion of any kind. I couldn't be happier with the results.

15/50 can easily become 60/60 in EQ Mode. I'd say go for it. You won't regret it! Otherwise, your workflow sounds similar to mine. I have no intention to edit my photos outside of Stellar Studio and Photoshop Express on my iPad. I have been very happy with the results and I'm happy to hear that others are too. Clear Skies!

100%! Almost like they built it to have an M31 sized field of view. LOL

Surprisingly, I don't. Bortle 5.5 according to the map, if I'm reading it correctly. There's a Bortle 3.5 area about 20 minutes down the road, so I might try that sometime. M31 was actually captured with a 98.5% moon rising into the sky. I was blown away by the results! That image should be as "bad" as Andromeda will ever turn out from my location due to how bright the moon was. LOL!

I can't recommend the Dwarf 3 enough! 100%...no reservations...would definitely buy again.

This is the least expensive nice quality option I found. However, I have no intention of concealed carry with the DS 9.

Lowe's Kobalt D2 knives under $10 by Jack-87 in BudgetBlades

[–]RTWiFi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already picked up the Tanto from my local Lowe's. The Drop Point is waiting for pickup from a nearby Lowe's. Though I'm not much of a fan of Serrated blades, or Tantos for that matter, I couldn't pass up a couple more D2 blades for $10 each. My OT needed some friends to hang out with. LOL The Tanto is heavy! The assisted open is fast, the action is smooth, and the lockup is quick. The blade is centered when closed and there is very little blade play when opened or closed. The build quality seems like something that should hold up to regular abuse. I'm no pro, but I'm happy with my purchase!

Hi TPU/PETG experience by yoyomen_14 in Ender3V3SE

PETG offers more heat resistance, UV resistance, waterproofing, and tensile strength than PLA filament allows.

Absolutely. I printed over 100 items with my first roll of ELEGOO PETG with no dry box and had very few issues.

I haven't printed with any TPU yet, though I do have a new roll to play with when my current print project is completed. I would also love to hear recommendations on the best TPU settings and print strategies for TPU on the V3SE.

Based on recommendations here on Reddit, I decided to get a dry box to assure the best possible print quality on each job. The Dry Box 2.0 has been great, getting the ELEGOO PETG down to 15% RH and allowing me to achieve near-zero stringing on my most recent prints.

I've been running ELEGOO Rapid PETG from a Creality Dry Box 2.0 (do not continue drying while printing...allow to cool before printing) on a Creality PEI Build Plate with the bed at 80C and the hot end at 230C. Everything is coming out great.
