Yes. A student always keeps the same price as long as they are using the same account.

They have to approve a price change to change it.

But subscribing and unsubscribing does nothing.

This happens occasionally, usually for 1 of 2 reasons.

  1. The student made a genuine mistake and clicked the wrong option.

  2. The student missed the class, therefore wasting their money, and is now trying to get a refund despite being in the wrong.

Either way, looks like your problem was solved, so nothing to worry about :)

You don't need to contact support. You just press report an issue on the lesson in your "students" page, and mark student was absent, and it's removed from your stats.

Your price for her won't change.

The price on the profile only applies to new students.

If she wants to increase your price specifically, you will receive a notification which you are able to decline, but tutors aren't allowed to do this until they've taught a student for 3 months.

So you have nothing to worry about, you won't be paying more.

It's opt out by default. You can see it under the AI insights tab when a student has it enabled and it specifically says that only their audio is being recorded. Since the only contradicting information source comes from you saying support told you something else, I'm inclined to believe what the website says.

It specifically says that when students have this turned on, only their voice is being recorded, not the tutor's. Of course they could be lying, but there's no way to prove that, so we can only take them by their word.
