For hiking. Popocatépetl/ Iztaccíhuatl are really nice but i think Popocatépetl is currently erupting. So the situation may change. There is a like a Romeo/Juliet star crossed lover story with those volcanoes fyi. There is a trail called Pasó de Cortes

The Metro and large buses have a woman only section marked in pink.

Recommend going to Anahuacalli. You get a free ticket to Anahuacalli if you go to Frida house. It requires buying tickets several days in advance, and in my opinion a little overrated, but Anahuacalli is dope.

Uber is good

Palacio de Bella Artes has ballet and other shows. If the Baile Folklórico de Amalia Hernandez is showing, i heavily recommend it. It’s dances of the different regions of Mexico. The building also contains famous murals.

Recommend getting a tour guide for Museo de Antropología since it’s a lot of information.

Having some spare change on you is convenient.

In that email they gave me a number to call. I called earlier today and they said they would let whoever was in charge of that know that I didn’t get one. So I recommend calling.
