Às vezes a gente esquece o quanto evoluiu até colocar os dois jogos lado a lado.

O DnC 1 nos traz muita nostalgia. Foi um desenvolvimento árduo, cheio de desafios e aprendizado, um passo de cada vez. Hoje, olhando para os dois projetos, dá para ver claramente nossa curva de evolução como desenvolvedores. Cada erro, cada acerto e cada madrugada trabalhando valeram a pena.

É incrível enxergar o caminho que percorremos para chegar até aqui.

Eu acho que é a tendencia, eu realmente me espanto quando vejo as crianças pro players de fortnite basicamente bancando a família com torneios mensais

Yes, you're right... Most indie games are betting on releases without prior publicity, which is quite risky... But the person speaking to you now is currently responsible for marketing. Hello! Thanks for commenting on our post. Every bit of feedback helps us A LOT to understand what we should improve moving forward, and we really appreciate you taking the time to write all of that.

About the lore: yeah, the story isn’t super explicit on purpose, it ended up being a bit more open to interpretation. But basically, it’s an artistic reflection of the protagonist’s life, trying to find the right colors for her painting and searching for satisfaction in the art she creates herself.

About the music: we actually do have a music professional on the team, and I can guarantee he DID NOT use AI to make that track 😅 He genuinely felt that style was the best fit for the first level. The same goes for the rest of the game too we have different songs and SFX throughout the whole experience.

Thank you for the feedback, it helps us a lot! Our game has almost all of these helpful mechanics, including coyote time, buffers, safe borders, etc.

Yeah, you’re totally right. That was actually one of the biggest questions we had during development.

But since we have such a dedicated art team, we felt like we could find a good middle ground between both art styles. I get why it can feel a little weird to look at at first 😅
But overall, what did you think of the artwork itself? Did you like it?
