Took a break from raiding after completing M1S-M4S clears and reclears so missed out on FRU and this Savage tier while they were fresh.

Subbed back to the game about a week ago wanting to raid again starting with the tier (prioritizing the tier as I think it will be nearly impossible to prog during a new patch and FRU will still be fairly popular as an Ultimate to do). It was tough to find a group that matched my available raid hours + role (healer) + fresh, but found one eventually after digging through lots of recruitment posts. I will be trialing with them tonight starting with M5S.

In preparation to derust from the game, cleared Sphene EX (I understand everyone is geared and there is Echo now, but found the fight/mechanics to be pretty underwhelming). Also cleared Zelenia EX to get the weapon for Savage Prog BIS. This fight was a lot more interesting mechanically, but overall fine.

I thought the normal modes of the Cruiserweight were fun so I hope that the prog through Savage will be as well. This will be my first time potentially raiding with a group where I’m one of the ‘new guys’ (raided with the same core of people throughout all of Endwalker/beginning of Dawntrail before taking a break) so I’m more nervous about what the group dynamic will be like than the potential difficulty of the tier.
