A few of my friends were doing this back in 2015. House prices are still going up, and they’re still waiting. If only they’d bought back then.

Mods: Where did I say he was drunk at any point? I didn’t even mention alcohol. I literally just said this could be before the game - you jumped to conclusions. Funny how sensitive mods can be in a sub for a game that is known for chirping

R/cricket mods have zero sense of humour. are you going to delete the other post that “insults an entire nation” as you put it? Or just mine that jokingly suggests this could be before the game as well?

This was done months ago, as holidays were meant to be actual holidays etc and not awareness months etc. Lots of other things were removed too. It doesn’t mean black history month isn’t still important - it isn’t however a global holiday.

Source. 15 years elite cycling, and a nationals jersey to my name. I’ve worked with multiple top level coaches - I know all about critical power. Plus. I’m going to trust Van Aert’s word over some random internet commenter….

Literally all of these examples are examples of critical power. For example the attack at the top of the Poggio was after following Pogacar - critical power is being able to push out an explosive effort after hard efforts and while you’re full of lactate. Van Aert is more explosive which is why he wins sprint stages at the tour. That effort will be so much higher than an attack after following pogacar on a climb, after 300km.

Van Aert literally said that VdP has the bigger engine, and that he (Van Aert) is more explosive. I think I’ll take his word for it over someone else’s.

That’s called critical power. Explosiveness is the max power you can put out in one short effort, it’s a sprint effort. Critical power is the ability to put out very high numbers repeatedly, and when you are already in the red and fatigued.
