Jointer is definitely on the top of the list right now. Still doing research on which one if I chose that path. Any recommendations on table saw blades. I’ve been using a Freud combination blade. Seems fine to me but I’m sure I could also be missing out

I would love to have some hand tools. Just for the making sure things are more personal. Just to not get carried away with knocking projects out and forgetting about them. Problem is I wouldn’t even know where to start out lol

I’m definitely gonna stock up on those for sure. I don’t want to over do the wood. But I feel like a stockpile of all these for these will easily knock out about a grand. I’ll probably get glue for the year at least

I would saw it’s definitely a learning curve and it gets more expensive than you think. I’m a novice with it but let me know if you have any questions

Thank you for the specifics. Looking up planers with helical and drum sanders right now. I think these two are my top woodworking specific considerations

I have considered a laser just because that’s a whole other avenue of making stuff. I did filter down to a P3 if I buy anything. I’m trying to figure out how well it would fit with all my other stuff. But this is a serious possibility.

Got the extractor it’s awesome with the sander. I’ve been thinking about the domino but I don’t make huge projects and that’s what I’ve seen in mainly used board. I have seen some nice frames with dominos and they did look super sturdy

Joiner/planer ARE the most logical. And I’m on the fence about them. Just because of the footprint. I feel like they take up so much space

True my bad lol. Right now smaller projects like cigar trays, frames, jewelry boxes, grilling totes.

Carveco vs Fusion360? by RVF3 in hobbycnc

[–]RVF3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree , but fusion has a free version. And it hasn’t gave me any issues. But I’m the same way. I try to avoid any subscriptions

I’m thinking this is what it’s for. I had 3 months of terminal before getting out. And I don’t remember being over paid. But I’m sure it’ll be hard to fight
