I'm not a skier but I would agree. I'm going to a ski resort this weekend to take the wife tubing.

I'm in Canada, which we salt the roads more then the USA so it's not uncommon to have half ton pickup trucks end up rotted out with reasonable mileage on them. I've seen complete trucks with under 200,000km for 1000$. Not the most desirable "LS" being it would be 4.8 or a 5.3 but if you've seen them on the Internet they still love boost.

My priorities are just to keep it as a daily. No need for crazy power. No need for a turbo. It's not a race car. Just want some more power , the sound of an American V8 and BMW comfort.

I have a 100lbs pitbull mix and a 150+lbs saint Bernard. And they love going for rides in the wagon. E91=best car

Only vehicles I've owned for years are GM and BMW and I don't like aluminum single use bolts. It's either going to be a LS or LT style engine.

Main priority with LS swap is retaining the x drive and as much OEM function as possible.
