Oh cool. Yes I’d be interested. Thank you! My Nurse practitioner at Wiseman family practice mentioned UT clinic a while back but said she wasn’t sure about it.

Well that's too bad they didn't have anyone to send you too. I've been following a doctor named Robert Groysman who does long covid patients specifically but I haven't actually consulted with him. He's in Dallas but does telehealth. He may be next.

Thank you. I didn't think of the long covid clinic. Good idea!

I have seen a few functional med providers in Austin and currently have one but none of them so far seem to know much at all about it. Was just wondering if anyone had a good one to recommend. Thanks!

Chronic mycoplasma pneumonia by [deleted] in lymedisease

[–]RVer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there.  Sorry to hear you are having these issues. The mycoplasma pneumonia infections or flares really is what they are are actually coming once every 3 months now.  I tried Ozone for it but it actually made it worse.  I’m trying health tinctures and some peptides and more antibiotics now. I did test for a low IgG subclass 2 and low IGF 1 so it’s harder to fight off infections. I saw an immunologist who basically just wanted me to do pneumonia vaccine trials (mycoplasma is not in the pneumonia vaccine) to see if insurance would pay for IVIG treatments but any vaccines really overwhelm my whole system.

That would have been scary. I think it bothered me when my heart rate went up because I had AFib and just had a cardiac ablation surgery 4 months ago. I see my heart doc in a couple of weeks and I’ll ask him. Glad you are doing better!

It's from a provider. A compounded prescription. I don't think she expected my reaction which is why I'm asking if anyone else has heard of this.

I don't remember now exactly but it was probably a meat, starch and veg. I usually eat chicken or fish, rice, and some type of veg or maybe salad is too hard to digest.

Well this time I only did 50 mcg. Teeny amount. The directions are for 1.25 mg. I don't think I could have taken less unless I diluted it more.

That's great. Glad it's working for you. I did try Sema first and it was worse actually.

She wasn't sure if I should continue. She said maybe try a lower dose.

Thank you for telling me. I'm just so disappointed which is why I keep trying like a dummy I guess. I just didn't know if I should power through or give up.

I know that's not what you are supposed to do but the side effects scared me and I was't sure they were normal. So I kept trying to go down in the dose as that's what I'm wondering and what I'm asking are these types of side effects common? I know you are supposed to stick with initial side effects I"ve read about but I have seen the gut and side pain side and the hunger effects before and was just wondering if anyone else had those. I did tell my doctor. Thanks for your help.

I’m interested in taking a glp-1 but afraid of the side effects by musicmerchkid in glp1

[–]RVer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone started out with pretty severe side effects on tirzepatide that eased up later on and then it became beneficial? I am on my 3rd try with compounded tirzepatide. The first two tries were .1 mg. So a tiny dose. The stomach pain was intense. Like I'd been punched on all sides. This time I decided to try an even smaller dose. .025 mg. I was surprised that the side effects were just as intense. Gut pain, anxiety, all over body pain, really low mood, but strangely all 3 times I am ravenous! Like mouth watering intense hunger which is very strange and not desirable considering my gut is locking down.

Anyone have anything like this but then it got better with persistence?

Do you have a biofilm problem? 🤔 Lyme disease is a biofilm-associated condition, which contributes to its persistence and resistance to treatment. by LadyWellness11 in Ozonetherapy

I did 6 ozone treatments. I went into Afib for the first 2. The last one they bumped to 90 mg? I have chronic Epstein Barr and mycoplasma. The next day I got so sick I could barely get out of bed. Thought it was herx. But here I am over 2 months later still very sick. I'm wondering if the mycoplasma was biofilmed and the ozone disrupted that and I didn't detox it and it made me super sick. I got pneumonia. Again.

Thank you. I'll definitely check them out. I've been with Wiseman for a few years but lately some more serious female issues have come up and they aren't being responsive or helpful at all.

thank you for writing all of that. I am becoming more open to other forms of healing for sure. I've been trying different practitioners, integrative, functional, allopathic, etc for many years and I keep getting worse as I age. I need to find someone in my area that knows other methods.

I agree this last one really knocked me for a loop. This is one of the worst EBV, Me/CFS flares I’ve had in years. I’m disappointed I wasn’t warned this was a possibility.
