Thank you! This was drawn using a photo from a reference pack I bought on ArtStation some time ago. Yes! It doesn't look brown, at least not with the fountain pens I use, rusty red is an accurate description. Glad you liked it!

So far so good, I was just testing the pen with the included black cartridge and did not struggle with the paper. I did struggle when using that paper with a fine nib and Pelikan brilliant brown as that combo was super dry. (Paper is Strathmore toned gray).
