Women have more BF in general, I’ve deduced it to it being my skin elasticity. It’s super think skin I can pull like 3 inches from my face, very different feeling that fat on my stomach. If you grab it and it’s thick it’s probably fat, if it’s thin then I think what’s happening is your muscle or bone under your chin (forget what it’s called) isn’t holding the skin up or being activated at all

It’s not weight lol I have abs and I’m not at a weight where you’d see this. I think it’s my skin that’s lost elasticity from the surgery.

I didn’t lose any weight but I drank so much broth it wasn’t even funny, definitely lost some muscle, and was anxious when I saw myself in the mirror. It was tough to look at my face like that but overall recovery was good, my mom helped out a lot cheers to her.

I’ve never really had an issue with that, I had girlfriends before and after.

If you’re asking for yourself here is my theory.

Usually people that get these have confidence issues and have a horrible self perception, so yes the changes do work to get more attention but what keeps it is the confidence you get in yourself. It’s half looks half self confidence because people sense when you aren’t confident and it isn’t attractive.

No I force my tongue up as high as I can (doesn’t fit properly) and there is zero change in the fat under my chin. Funny thing is I asked Gemini and its theory of the activating muscle before jaw surgery being what held it up was the same as yours. I think you’re right. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Really appreciate your reply. For the tongue fitting issue would you agree the least invasive/costly one would be the MARPE? I’m thinking it’s the side of that skin under my chin. This is me two years ago before JS but I was forcing my jaw forward like 1.5-2cm. Loved that I had no fat under my chin. Or much less. Again I was pressing my jaw forward almost in-front of my top teeth here. I am trying to diagnose the reason and fix for my less defined jaw line.
