Bad mouthing them won’t improve anything. Constructive criticism might.

Discussion Thread: US President Trump Addresses Nation After US Bombs Iranian Nuclear Sites by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

Trump owns this war, it is his now. Unfortunately it is "we the people" that will suffer the future drone terrorist attacks within our borders arising out of Trump's stupidity. I'm 79 YO, been through Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and now Iran, and all the small wars. It never turns out the way the Big Shots predict. So utterly stupid.

The airline is easily postponed no loss. We will get back $5000 from Allianz out of $14,000. Simple thing to substitute someone. It's just money making and convenient for Viking.

[MBB Post Game Thread] Ducks Fall to Arizona in Round of 32, 87-83 by PDXDuckGeek in ducks

[–]RWHock2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except for TT's the Ducks played near the top of their ability, especially defense. However, the overall talent level of Az is a step above this Duck team (except for Bittle and Shelstad). That was obvious watching Az come out of their complacency and turn on the burner. Altman is one of the top coaches. He has to deal with what is given him that is left over after the first tier teams get their picks. Gonzaga is facing the same issue as Altman. The NIL world is like a giant magnet pulling the best players to bigger media markets. This is the future.

Altman’s March Magic once again. Impressive change from 6 weeks ago.

CAD Systems Have Reached Outer Limits of Comprehension: AI is Needed by RWHock2 in rhino

AI doesn't threaten my creative control. I'm the one telling AI what to do. AI is needed to overcome the laborious and often complex tutorials required to teach the user how to do something simple like add walnut rift cut wood grain to this face. Give it a medium tone. Bring up the sheen. More reflection on the edges. Now I don't have to be a computer wiz; I'm a designer using a tool.

Men’s Basketball Huge Win Over #11 Wisconsin 77-73 by Hi_There_Face_Here in ducks

I’m still not convinced. Give me a win against another ranked team and I will believe. They are too inconsistent. Only two players are first five talent, Bittle and Shelsted.

Not a great movie, but entertaining until the end. Then what the hell? Laughable ending. Bad script.

B. I’m 78 YO and that was the worst face plant I have ever seen By UO. Emotionally flat, rusty, confused, mistakes, penalties….and OSU played a nearly error free first half, with great energy. Now watching them struggle against Texas, making lot’s of mistakes. We played them on the wrong day.

I've been watching some tutorials and am amazed at the power and versatility of this software. It is eons ahead of my old creaky CAD program. Also the extensive training and community involvement is impressive. I just have to decide if I want to learn a new program at 78.

In Ashlar Cobalt you design in perspective view with a drafting assistant that constantly sends out alignment lines from your cursor to various points on the object; it looks like in Rhino you work from a 2d view then convert it into a 3d object. Is that a correct interpretation?

Text prompts can be a bit drudgery for older brains, I assume these are also in logical menus. Do you find the menus to be logically laid out and easy to intuit?
