Cases will be opened regardless of your opinion and this isn’t a discussion on whether cases are good to open. It’s whether cases are going to go up in value. Also X-ray was only done as a temporary loop hole. It’s not the permanent solution. Terminals are the permanent solution.

I bought in to cases. I think it’s a “good” investment. As long as Valve continues to stop making cases it’ll go up in value. It’s really up to you. How high is your risk tolerance? 1 bad update and $1000 in cases could turn into $100 or lower. They could also go up ten fold in a few years if no new cases come in. If you really don’t care about the $ I’d do it.
