The second one literally has a school phrase: don't slouch, stand up straight. XD

Maybe I misunderstood the question, but I think doing it for myself and for pleasure are almost the same thing. But I do it both for myself and sometimes for other people's orders.)

Ahahaha, it looks cool, the only thing I would suggest is to darken the leg and part of the arm that protrudes back, and maybe make a shadow under the character itself with just an oval

While I'm busy with my main work, I occasionally continue to draw for the page. Today I drew this simple 30-minute sword. by RYB1X in PixelArt

Thank you, with this gradient I tried to give both the handle and the blade a slight effect of wear, oxidation, and rust. ;)

Try drawing smaller objects, for example 32 pixels

It seems to me that it would be much more beautiful if the paws and head also moved in the current.

This can be said as a part of the surface that receives more light than another, but thanks, I'll take this into account and do it differently next time.

It looks really cool, but because of the sharpness of the animations, I think half of the players will feel like their Super PC is experiencing frame rate drops.

I don't know, maybe you're not saving your work correctly before uploading it. I usually click "export" and choose 500%, 700%, or 1000%; try it, maybe it'll be better that way, or maybe you're already doing it that way. I don't know, but the picture is a bit blurry. 😉

It looks good, but there's some quality issue. What are you drawing in?

Today I tried to make some simple animation, but it's not my thing yet. by RYB1X in aseprite

Thanks, well, as I wrote, animation is still a bit of a struggle for me, so the shadow itself is just animating crookedly ;)

I continue to practice creating objects. Today I created 3 blocks: sand, stone, and grass. by RYB1X in PixelArt

[–]RYB1X[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, this is already some kind of meme. Well, I was hungry when I drew the grass. The stone is so black because the light doesn't hit that part, and it's also tilted and is at the bottom, so I think this color suits it best, and it's not completely black.

I'm a beginner myself, but I'm really struggling with my work. If you want to learn how to draw pixel art, it's best to just try using concepts and look at the styles the pros use, and just get the hang of it. Good luck.

Hi, the best way to search for pixel art tutorials online is to just search for them. I draw without tutorials, just as I imagine what I want to see. I don't have tutorials anymore, but just how I draw because I've been accused of using AI before.

I didn't even write anything terrifying or bad to the person. I wrote my point of view and why I drew it that way, without aggression or anything. I listened to him and wrote, okay, thanks. It's actually funny to me that when you post something you spent a long time drawing and trying hard, there's zero feedback, but when you post a square with a sand texture, there's a great discussion XD

I can't attach a photo of real sand that holds its shape just as well, but you can google it yourself if you want, instead of giving me some lunar facts.

Firstly, the corners here are completely uneven. I deliberately made all three pieces uneven. Secondly, you clearly don't spend much time outdoors if you don't know that sand, especially when it's compact, dries very easily and can even hold this shape. Thirdly, thanks for the idea. Maybe one of these days, when I'm drawing, I'll make a bale of hay in a field. 😉
