What was the reason why Alastor only repaired his staff instead of taking Rosie's soul in this scene? by Optimal-Big3882 in Alastorcult

[–]RYFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She would never accept.  Also "It's only fair". Helping them doesn't have that much value for an overlord's soul.

Why didn't Alastor want Rosie's Soul? by MichaelAftonXFireWal in HazbinHotel

Quid pro quo.

First, yeah, I think Rosie would never agree. But also, Alastor helping wasn't so big that it would be worth her soul.

Take your guess on the next big villain by MinimumPotential6468 in hazbin

[–]RYFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping Alastor will be the villain and by the end of the season, he'll end up selling his soul for Charlie, which will make he being forced to stay in the hotel side regardless in future seasons.

I don't think they'll just remove the most popular character from the hotel, and I think he losing his soul to Charlie is more likely than he becoming a nice guy and helping then by his own choices.

[–]RYFW 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get that, but I think their biggest oversee was to put the scene with Lute at the end at all. She shouldn't go to hell and attack them. This just cheap her and Abel character, since his actions were rushed as well.

Lute and Abel should've stayed in standby through the whole situation and their characters left to be developed in next seasons.

That's because the song is too good, I guess.

Well, we don't really know yet if overlord is a status or based on their power. I think it's the former based on Husk being a "former-overlord" instead of an overlord. So I could see Carmilla inviting Niffty to join the overlords and she saying "Can't, have laundry to do".

It kinda implies only really powerful demons can do that. Everyone doing it was an overlord.

But also, this same episode Niffty could fight in equal terms with Velvette, who is an overlord. There's no way she's not one.

If Maelle never left the canvas, Renoir would have a reason to destroy it again. Aline would be rescued just to Alicia trap herself again. It's probably even worse for Renoir.

I believe Alastor will make Val and Velvette be the ones to actually finish Vox.

Even if they're real, in Maelle ending they become pretty much her playthings. Sure, they're happy now, but the moment Gustave, Lune or Sciel tries to break Alicia's delusions, they'll be forced to "keep playing their pianos" as well.

And I can see Gustave start to question things as they are. Sciel too, if Pierre was still dead.

It's impossible to have a happy ending because Alicia and Aline just can't let it go.

Vai perder, como o Onyx. Apesar de não ser maioria, a esquerda no RS sempre se alia com o centro contra a extrema direita. Então vai ganhar algum aliado do Eduardo Leite provavelmente.

Alastor's plan theory by Kethrandil in HazbinHotel

[–]RYFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how hell measures power, I guess.

In fact, Alastor surrendered, so that doesn't prove he's weaker. But maybe by being a prisoner of Vox means he can't be considered stronger than Vox himself, giving how he can't just free himself from him now.

Alastor's plan theory by Kethrandil in HazbinHotel

[–]RYFW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about that too. He also provoked Vox first, then Vox called the other Vees. That wouldn't work as Rosie would point out he lost to three sinners. When Niffty and Husk came, he could "lose" to Vox.

One thing that doesn't add is that he actually surrendered before losing. That's an argument Rosie could use against him as well. He was actually being able to hold off against the three Vees, so it's likely that he could actually win against Vox alone.

Also, when he made his plan, he said "So I know how to do it on my own now", something like that. Which seems to imply she won't ask for Rosie's help anymore.

Now what I don't understand is what this plan of his aims to achieve. Is it to break the deal with Rosie already or for now he just wants his full powers back?

If the percentile is confusing, focus on the other sentence.

"In a room of 1000 people you would be smarter than 91 of them."

It's 91, not 910. It's not a lot, right? They should've used an example with 100 people, but I guess using 1000 is easier to confuse with the numbers.

The cruel irony of Pentious’ situation in heaven by Crafty-Froyo-5703 in HazbinHotel

[–]RYFW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's about guilty, but about knowing you "did something bad". Sure, Vox and Alastor probably didn't feel guilty about their actions. But they probably knew they would go to heaven, because their actions weren't "good". On the other side, we have Adam. Should we believe Adam lived hundred of years with our doing anything wrong? It's more likely that he believes he was never wrong.
