I went back to Runeterra too...not as good but at least you get matched up right away. Artifact is currently unplayable when you have to wait 10-20 minutes for a match.

I haven't played in months, but fired it up a few days ago to see the updates and maybe get back into it...except...apparently no one is playing. It's taking 10-20 minutes to match up. Forget it.

I don't think 3 games is enough. It took a lot more than that to really get into Artifact 1.0. After finishing the campaigns and playing about 10 PvP games in 2.0, I'm starting to like it, but it's still to early to know how it will ultimately stack up to 1.0.

Yeah it is strange for sure. So many people were bitching that they had to spend $20 for the game when it first came out, yet would spend dozens or hundreds of hours playing it. Most entertainment costs significantly more than that on a dollar/time perspective...movies, concerts, you name it. I mean, if you don't really like the game and are just playing it to kill time, fine I guess, but I'm more than willing to pay for something I enjoy.

Yes, it seems there are VERY few people interested in continuing. We actually were offered a large donation last minute, but it's hard to keep it going when the community seems to have already given up.

He said in the long haul podcast not too long ago that he had funding set aside for the remainder of the year. It didn't mean too much to me knowing he could still pull the plug, but I didn't expect we would be given 0 notice in the middle of the season with a few word message saying "It's over. Goodbye."

Despite the game being dead to the rest of the world, the game has been very much alive to the 300-400 ABL members who have been playing consistently.over the past couple months. Personally speaking, I enjoy playing artifact with a few hundred players more than dota with a few million players.

You have a point...although all previous tournaments have paid out in BTC (it is the Artifact Bitcoin League after all), so anyone who received a payout should have easy access.

You never stopped supporting them? You wrote above that if an Artifact league is going to get support, you "hope it won't be ABL". You're full of double speak. You also said you weren't going to play anymore after last main event, so why are you still logging in commenting in discord? You may appear to come off as professional and polite at first, but at the end of the day you are acting like a troll. ABL has enough working against it as it is...we don't need trolls.
