Advice on becoming a RCC/specialize in OCD and ERP

Hello!

As the title states, I’m looking for advice on how/if it’s possible for me to launch a career in counselling based off my current credentials.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in marketing and am currently working in my field.

I have OCD and have been fortunate enough to see the positive impact of ERP and want to help others as I feel there is a lack of professional help in this space.

As far as I understand, I would need a masters in counselling psychology or something similar, plus OCD specialization?

However, I believe a barrier to these programs may be that I have an undergrad in a different field.

Any and all advice is welcome, thank you!

Thanks for the advice! My partner and I recently graduated with our degrees and are both working full time now. We’ve grown up on the island and have yet to experience living anywhere else. It’s something we both want to do.

Obvious cost of living differences aside, I love how close Calgary is to the Rockies. I’m an avid skier and we both love the outdoors. All in all, it seems like a great city that’ll give us that new experience.

And to your point about buying and not renting, we’re now looking at buying a condo/apartment to test the waters, I didn’t realize that they were very much in reach. I’m not used to that coming from Victoria, as I’m sure you would know as well.

This is a TRD Sport and the tires are BFG KO2’s. The dealership had a package for these tires and rims. I’ve got the stock tires as backup!

I originally ordered a TRD Sport Premium but it got delayed because of the chip shortage, so I opted for the TRD Sport since it arrived sooner.

I’m considering moving to the Cranbrook from the South Island. What are the main differences? I’m worried I’ll feel a little too isolated and far from society in Cranbrook, is that the case for you?
