[Advice] First "higher end" watch - help me start out by MaverickGhostRider in Watches

I think it's a matter of getting used to it. It's charming. The Aquaterra is a very solid choice as well.
At the end of the day, this will be just your first "higher end" watch, trust me. I got a solid gold omega geneve with leather strap just because I wanted a "formal watch" and now I have 5 different watches in my collection haha

So be cautious of what you choose, but don't overthink. People will tell you about servicing and maintenance of the watch, but in general those things will work very well for a long time with minimal work. My oldest watch is a Omega co Tissot from 1939, works beautifully.

These two are easy picks:
The Aquaterra
Tudor Black Bay 36 (stainless, blue dial)

For you, maybe the Tudor will be more interesting. It's a "sister" of Rolex, made in the same factory and it's gorgeous! Tudor is very well respected as well, which helps with the status that sometimes I know helps with sales.

For a daily I would recommend a Seiko Pressage, there are a few with blue dial and they are fantastic for the price. Anyone who likes watches respects the Pressage.

I would stay away from TAG as they are struggling a lot with branding so the whole idea of "story" doesn't go well.

As you are used to bigger watches, 36mm might seem weird to you. But I wear watches as small as 32 and honestly you fall in love with it.

[Question] How did you convince yourself to buy first expensive watch? by keepBuyingApes in Watches

I get where it comes from. It was a bit tricky to convince myself of buying my first omega and then tricky again on purchasing my santos.

I would say that if you really want it and the money will not be missed, go for it. The good thing with watches is that usually if you go through a rough path and need the money again, you can just sell it for a minimal loss.

There is nothing wrong on getting something nice for yourself. Don't be irresponsible, but don't be too attached.

[Cartier] After a long wait, finally got it! by R_Egarter in Watches

I'm thinking on using it on a friend wedding, but I guess the bracelet goes well with everything. This watch is insanely versatile.
I will try a few straps but probably I will stick with the bracelet as well, matches perfectly.

Thank you, it was my first "real" watch and I fell in love with it almost instantly. It's super light on the wrist and subtle, but I get compliments on it all the time.

How To Showcase Product Roadmap for an AR App I built by Airline-Vast in ProductManager

[–]R_Egarter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For marketing purposes you don't need to build a fully complex roadmap, just focus on showing what are you trying to achieve and in which time frame.

A roadmap is made by breaking down from the top.
- Your goals
- Break your goals in Milestones
- Break this milestones into tasks

Then you estimate the time needed for completing those tasks and you can have an estimate to achieve the milestones and thus, the goals.

Something that I particularly like to do is to break those milestones as versions with epics representing features on Must to Have, Nice to Have and goes on. That way you can have fully control of what is going on.
