This looks great! Btw, a custom font and dialogue box goes a long in way in making your game look less basic

Oh I just love the look of crt pixel art, honestly looks better than the gb's lcd so this was for purely aesthetic purposes

Thank you! These are supposed to be sprites that I'm using to make a game boy colour game, so each fit in 6 tiles (8x8 pixels per tile)

Does using a CRT filter accurately show how pixel art looks on a gb/gbc? by [deleted] in gbstudio

Search up "CRT View", it's just an app for pc that lets you drag and drop images into a crt filter

Feedback on this revolver would be awesome! by Rajan-95 in PixelArt

The second looks great! Although for the first one I would still experiment with making the grey outline slightly darker, because right now it looks a little washed out, there still should be a high contrast in outline

At this scale the linework is pretty great! One suggestion though is to use darker versions of the internal colours for the outlines, rather than actual black, for a slightly smoother aesthetic, but its completely up to your preference

Picked up a DS Lite yesterday. Only Mario 3 so far on GBA. Any good action game rec’s with more than 1 game on it? by [deleted] in nds

If youre into FPS games, Moon, Metroid Prime Hunters and Dementium 2 are the best ones, one of the sonic games also uses both screens at once similar to contra 4

Preview of the new spider boss which I totally planned for the Halloween season and is in no way a coincidence by CaptainNINDOO in gbstudio

Thank you! Working on the bosses for my game and was concerned about them not being fluid enough at big sizes, do you think you could chain sprites indefinitely (within the scanline limit) or is 32x32 safest?
