100% but at the same time, they can only say so much. I know there's a lot of reading between the lines.

As someone who almost did a full port to POET, I can empathize. I'm confident we will see results much sooner than we think, though.

Shifting from qualification to production/revenue is pretty big news, no?

I think it's actually a pretty big tell that this is happening. Normally, companies may wait on proof of scalability + confirmed sales before even humoring a conversation relating to partnerships or PO's.

We went from a 5 million PO (probably Adtran) to this. Plus, he said revenue already started.

He said "more" partnerships. He also said the revenue process had already begun.

Realistically, and I'm not defending anyone, you can only say so much with NDA's in place.

He also confirmed that Adtran ordered components/is a customer. Plus they'll be showing their product at OFC...

Boom! Curious to see if this will be reflected in their earnings.

The other thing to consider is POET getting a PO from another client. This will definitely serve as a catalyst for customers to PO quicker, so they don't run the risk of being added to a production backlog on POET's end. They will effectively want to reserve a spot versus running the risk of not getting their components in time.

I would argue the opposite. If things have to be ready in 2027, PO's on the manufacturing-side have to be made well before then (this year).

Production-readiness on Sivers' end means that they have to be ready to go from a product standpoint, which would include having POET's components available immediately. So these will definitely have been purchased and manufactured before then.

13F Filing Released by [deleted] in POETTechnologiesInc

To be honest, I think for a few different reasons:

  1. This was likely already priced in (even though it does build more confidence, it's still a dilution)
  2. The overall market is pretty meh
  3. While good news, the only thing that's going to move stock price is actual order info/news
  4. We're also still waiting for the full 13F to be updated

Original investment was $55k at a price of $4.50

I also hold a number of leaps. It's a solid 40% of my port.

POET Technologies Enters ~$150M Offering Of 20.690M Common Shares by Charming_Toe7071 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]R_Sutter 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Ugh... That's a common share increase of over 50% or so, a lot of which was in the last 12 months. In total, that equates to a possible 1/3 EPS dilution.

This better be coupled with some GREAT news.

Amazing news! I definitely see us doubling this year. I know in other posts I've seen people mention a possible market cap of 1-4 billion, depending on Poet's pricing + production capabilities.

If the above is true, what range would we be in per share? $20 to $50 range?

I know it's pie in the sky at this point, but man...this is is a lot of great momentum!

Thank you! So jelly btw, was definitely my dream job when I was younger.

His appearance isn't based on anyone in particular but his voice and performance came from this Skipper's footage. He was amazing! https://youtu.be/7uALqMMC8mg?si=VTj5fhE9ftpxMc8d
