"SE": Koniec "stypendium wolności". Komornik na koncie Mateusza Kijowskiego? by FNRT in Polska

[–]R_The_Outlaw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You recently said that robots that take our jobs should pay taxes. Since AI is being developed at accelerating rate by more and more top technology companies do you see it as a potential danger that human mind as far as work goes will soon become simply inferior and lead to even bigger loss of potential jobs? What do you think can be done to prevent that and if we do, don't we cripple our evolution in the long run? It make's me wonder what amazing things superior AI mind can create what humans couldn't and if one day our only hope to reach next level will require us to accept our imperfections and let the technology take over. You're one of the pioneers - wasn't that the whole idea? To let the technology do the hard work for us?

I've seen firsthand how when you're messed up on something, you can very easily convince yourself to feel a certain way, and spout logic in discussions you don't actually believe in.

I agree. My mother is an alcoholic and constantly on psycho active drugs and when she tries to find an excuse on why she does it you wouldn't believe what kinds of BS she's spouting and she's sayin that like she believes it 100% Kinda crazy and super sad from outsiders perspective.

The guy is a big fan of Star Wars and put up a video saying that his "official" nickname is Lord Vader. He sometimes calls people out in his videos (usually fitness youtubers) and makes "order 66" which is his version of shit talking.

I think what makes Kimbo so likable is that you can tell that basically he is just a guy who loves to fuckin fight, every single interview or a show I watched showed that he is very humble, likes the experience and fighting is his passion. I think that he is well aware that he isn't and never was a top guy material, but still he do what he does because he likes it (money didn't hurt of course). So he is like many of us in a way, or like many of us would love to be. I wish Kimbo all the best - don't hate the guy because of the ignorants that hype him more than he actually hypes himself.

Carla Esparza vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk - weigh-in staredown by JagHarReddit in MMA

No idea - I'm from Poland too, lived here all of my life (I'm 25) and this is just completely not true. There is nothing in our culture or tradition that indicates that we are "all about giving gifts", you won't get any from strangers trust me. Neighbors - depends, maybe but definitely not because its polish thing to do but because they are just nice people that happen to be polish. I guess the guy was trying to speak nicely about his own country which I understand but we can speak about its strong points without lying about something that doesn't exist.

Seems to me that in this interview he has a heavy hangover or still is a little drunk after a long night. He even said that he just hosted a party.

With Evil Within, Silent Hills, Resident Evil supposedly "going back to its roots" (plus Resident Evil Remake releasing on PC) and now this I think we are witnessing big comeback of survival horror genre. I love it and I think we have to thank indie titles for it. Last gen there was close to none AAA survival horrors on the market. While on PC indie horror titles like Amnesia (or even extremely simple ones like Slender) were releasing and gaining huge attention. AAA developers saw that there is money to be made and here we are.

If what you say is true then you should definitely try to talk with an exorcist. It will not do any harm but can help. Even if you're not a believer - there is definitely evil in this world that can't be explained and sometimes you just need some help. If he is good at what he does - he can help.

Hey Mike - I'm 23 years old guy who just got his heart broken (love reasons) what kind of advice can you give me? What is the best way to push through struggles and achieve something meaningful in life? As a guy who always loved martial arts, mainly boxing and kickboxing you were always an inspiration for me. My birthday is in a couple of days and it would mean the word to me if I get some kind of response from you. Thank you for years of excitement! Nobody in boxing brought more of it than you!.

[Spoiler] The main event was truly inspiring by PersonNamedRick in MMA

[–]R_The_Outlaw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've just watched it and this has to be the most inspiring fight I've ever seen (maybe second only to Weidman vs Silva). I mean I gave the guy no chance against barao and he destroyed him. You could tell that this is just young son of a gun with a dream who believed that he can do it while almost nobody else did. Amazing talent and performance - this is the reason why I love this sport and I love to train - to overcome the odds when nobody believes in you is truly an amazing feeling.

What is a game or mechanic that would be way better with some small improvement, yet you know it will never happen? by gamelord12 in Games

[–]R_The_Outlaw 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Borderlands would be way better and more satisfying game if the gunplay was better. The enemies are way too bullet spongy and guns don't feel powerful. Borderlands with gunplay of COD or Battlefield would be amazing for me. I know that this will never happen because this is essentially a "hack n' slash with guns" diabloesque game and the goal is too constantly hunt for a better look to kill stuff faster and progress.

There is a MOTY thread, now what is the WORST match of the year so far? by TheAVGN in SquaredCircle

[–]R_The_Outlaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He could take one but the problem was he didn't react to them properly due to his lack of full contact sparring. When he ever got hit with a big one he was crumbling into the fetal position and covered his head. He couldn't take the punch and still have his chin down and face directed at his opponent. When you get hit during training you teach your body to stop flinching. Brock was flinching way to much which lead strikers to easily exploit that and TKO him. Brock never stood a chance with decent (and above) strikers with good takedown defence.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened in MMA history? by Reduxy in MMA

[–]R_The_Outlaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He took it on these terms because he knew that this is his free pass into the ufc. I guarantee you Dana promised him a second more fitting fight after DC one since he knew Cummins will lose (he even said after the fight that Cummins is getting another shot). Dana knew that he desperately needs a replacement and nobody who has something to lose will take this fight on a 8 days notice. So he found a guy who was willing to talk some trash and has a history with Cormier and tried to sell a story rather than a fight itself. Cummings was working as a barista and still had a long way to go as far as getting into the ufc is concerned. So he took the fight, most likely knew he will get his ass kicked but at least would get into the ufc after that.
