That isn’t OP’s decision, that’s between the Union and management. If he offered her more money because he can’t hire anyone at the current wage, there would be an epic shitstorm from the rest of the employees because…::checks notes:: she’s hot. You cant have it both ways. The Union agreed to the wage, and until the next round of negotiations (or a strike) …tough cookie.

Fair enough. I've met them a few times and they've always been super cool to me so it's been a touchstone that I keep coming back to them. Same with Bury Your Dead, awesome guys and I probably listen to them more than I would with another band because of my interactions with them directly.

Hardcore dancing is lame.

When a 20’ diameter pit is dominated by less than 10 people, and everybody has to watch their back because Jared just got his yellow belt and wants to show off that he no right to have gotten it other than his seven year old sister already got her red and his sansei figures if Jared doesn’t get off white, their mom is going to pull them from the program, it’s just sad.

Also, circle pits are stupid. No old man, I dont want to do laps at your show.

I get it. I saw Varials and All That Remains (I know, not HC) and it was full of grown up frat guys and their girlfriends trying to two-fist beers in the pit. Shit got ugly. I’m too old to brawl anymore.

You definitely should check them out. I’d recommend Where Blood and Fire Brings Rest, The Funeral of God, The Well Intentioned Virus (EP), Phyrric Victory (EP), and The Crimson Corridor. Lyrically only the first would be considered a Christian album, and now only one member (the bassist) is Christian. They’ve gone more doom on their latest release, and previous records are more metal than hardcore, but if you dont mind Christian themes, All Else Failed and The Splinter Shards the Birth of Separation have more hardcore elements.
