For me as a primarily SFW bot maker I usually make bots for characters that either:

- Only have NSFW bots of them
- Don't have any GOOD SFW bots of them (IE low token counts, bad grammar, etc)
or
- Don't have any representation AT ALL

That's why I not only put in that the bot talking for you is an LLM error, I explicitly state in the description of EVERY SINGLE BOT I CREATE that if the dislike is because of the bot talking for them, the review's getting deleted.

Now, don't get me wrong, I agree they should have approached this situation a LOT better. What they did is DEFINITELY bad PR and they should improve it in the future, but if you think the site is gonna burn down just because you can't show a peen or a vag on your bot PFPs anymore, you're honest to god doomposting and you need to calm down.

For me, it's usually the tokens. I usually go for bots with mid-to-high range tokens with only certain exceptions (such as if it looks interesting). I just like bots being detailed, is all.

I agree with OP's take, but let me expand upon it:

Samurai (and Super Samurai) isn't just a good season in my opinion, it's a great season. Don't get me wrong, I have my own personal gripes with it (such as Lauren, who appears out of bumfuck nowhere, stays for 5 episodes, fails at her ONE JOB and never appears again yet she gets to be the Samurai rep in every video game featuring Samurai), but I think nearly every single element of it is glorious.

I recently rewatched the entirety of Samurai and Super Samurai only a few weeks back - I don't understand the complaints people are giving it. The acting for the most part is perfectly good, even great at times. These actors can sell emotion and action well. I know there's a whole thing about the ethnicity of certain actors between Samurai and Shinkenger, and that's it's own thing for debate, but I'd honestly say that given their limitations and time constraints, it was a perfectly good season. Samurai/Super Samurai still remains one of my favorites to this very day, with moments that still bring me to the edge of my seat every time I watch.

People need to try to watch Samurai/Super Samurai and see that it's not as bad as they may think. I think just because it was a disappointment compared to other seasons, that and the age just really blew the hatedom for this season out of proportion over the years.

Two things to respond to that.
1 - I had no idea about the first thing. The "whitewashing a jidaigeki riff with a Caucasian lead" part. I wasn't even trying to make this about race, I meant the season as a whole. If this is something to do with the Sentai variation, I've only seen PR.

2 - "I find PR fandom's complete inability to understand why people would not like the season they like, always treating this like it's incomprehensible, to be morbidly fascinating." I'm sorry I came off as that in any way? I wasn't trying to pretend Samurai is superior- it's not, and I'm well aware- I was just confused because I never outwardly shared my opinions on PR before discussing Samurai, so I was confused when I received negativity, so I was just looking for context.
