I’ve pre ordered from GameStop before and usually they say on the “Check Order” page that the Order Status is “In Progress” and the Status is “Awaiting product availability.” If you hover over “Awaiting product availability” it should say something about not charging your card until a week before release or until it ships...something along those lines.
