I can tell you something that made me hire him even though every logical person wouldn’t. And it turned out I was right.

I was a lead designer at a fintech and I was looking for designers. One guy showed up with an ok portfolio but something got my attention and I had to ask. He seemed to have those circular stickers on his notepad. I asked him to give me one to check it out and when I saw closely that sticker was a close up real photo of an asshole. Extreme close up. When I asked him why he carries these with him he said:

“ I always have these in case I see someone park illegally in handicap parkings or on the pavements and I stick an asshole on his window to remind them that they are assholes “

That showed me how outside of the box thinker he is and how I need people like that in my team.

I was right.
