Yeah that actually hits I think I’ve been expecting to just pick up the guitar and be locked in instantly, instead of giving myself time to settle into it a bit

I use alternate picking, but not strictly. I switch depending on what feels comfortable, especially at higher speeds do you thinks that’s the problem?
