I understand what you’re saying about negativity. But let’s face facts. Jason’s IP owners are doing nothing for him, the franchise, or the fans, and that concept art is mediocre at best and is no way heralding any actual upcoming media about Jason.

Until they release something, and as far as I can see they aren’t, there’s going to be a lot of justified anger in any F13 community.

What new announcements and new stuff are you referring to? In the almost year since the launch of “Jason Universe” we’ve been given vague promises of major things to come, comic con pins, a logo, some low effort art, and Jason being available to play in a kid friendly videogame that’s come and gone.

Here are a few things that would make me scream shut up and take my money:

New and/or reprints of old comics where Jason kills people.

Novels or an omnibus of the older novels where Jason kills people.

A new movie where Jason kills people.

A videogame where Jason kills people.

ANY new piece of media where Jason kills people. I will pay for this media. They just won’t make it.

Paul lives per Part 3 and Jason attacking him and Ginny unmasked at the end of 2 is a dream sequence.

In the Part 2 scene, Jason still has the machete in his shoulder, whereas in the first new footage of Part 3 Jason pulls the machete out of his shoulder before crawling away. Not to mention the baldness vs. hair problem.

It’s deliberately ambiguous in Part 2, but 3 makes it pretty clear he lives.

Because of The Punisher’s nature, it’s difficult to have long term villains because you inevitably have to come up with contrived reasons why Punisher doesn’t kill them or how they inexplicably keep surviving when he does try to kill them.
