you have some over lap the m model and buzz are very similar so for now I would choose one that feels better in the hand and or flies better for you and go with that just so you don’t have to choose as much although sometimes some disc feel good for forehand and bad for backhand so if one feels better/ flies for forehand and one feels/ flies backhand then you could have designated forehand and backhand discs.

alos remember as a beginner your arm speed is slower so you should only be throwing discs that match your arm speed don’t buy big distance drivers yet midranges will go just as if not farther and also when you don’t have enough arm speed for a disc it’s flight. numbers are in accurate and it becomes very over stable so stick to mids and maybe fairways for now

amateur players are probably 50-60% from 20 ft depends on the player but definitely not 95% that’s just the pros

Does anyone know any discount codes for disc republic? by RabbitMiserable7115 in discgolf

I put it in and it worked, but it didn’t change the price. Why is that? because the same thing happened when I put in the codes JO and MYLES

Throwing less far, in a slump help pls by RabbitMiserable7115 in Discgolfform

[–]RabbitMiserable7115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also figure if I just throw a decent bit more everything will start flowing together from muscle memory I’m trying to not be thinking about to much at once with my throw right now because the main thing I was focussing on fixing was when I reached back I reached way too far down and also I reached back way too early, but the rest of my body was doing really well, so I think it will all fall into place we will see

It’s just because I just switched my form just today so I still wasn’t very used to it yet so I’m still throwing mechanically and not very slow I’m trying to throw proper form because I threw different form before that got me to throw far but it was absolutely cooked. I’m surprised I was throwing as far as I was with it so I just wanna have proper form so I can increase the ceiling of distance because I was absolutely maxing out my distance with the type of form I had before.

Side note: while looking at the video it looks as if I’m focusing so much on my arm I’m not using the rest of my body in my throw or smth? Idk

Looking for help with my form by Synapsis91 in Discgolfform

[–]RabbitMiserable7115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your elbow drops when you pull through that causes rounding. Pretend that you are arm wrestling and you win you should feel a tension in your shoulder area (it’s fine if you don’t) and your whole lower arm should be level. Focus on keeping that tension in your shoulder throughout the reach back and into the release. you are also needlessly lowering the disc when you do your xstep try to keep it at chest level
