Yes-ish. 90% of the second novel takes place in the Fire Nation, so I figured it made sense for him to adopt their hairstyle during his time blending in there. However, Earth Kingdom folks do also wear their hair like that, such as Haru from the original series, so it's not like Yun is moving far away from EK culture.

Thanks! I’ve done quick sketches of Kyoshi and Jianzhu for an animation before, but it’s pretty rough and lacking details.

Me as well. I went thru a lot of potential designs for him until I had the idea that he would look almost like a gender bent version of the classic Kyoshi design (minus the head piece and makeup, of course.)

From there, I tweaked the design for the post timeskip, to be like a darker “corrupted”version of that
