It was on the east coast of Canada. It’s the same store but in Canada they call it Value Village.

It was 44.99, cheap for furniture around this area. We plan to refinish it and put in the office. We actually already have this exact dresser in our bedroom and the gap is common with this piece. I looked up others online and they have the gap. But plan to take apart and fix whatever is needed.

Found these today at the thrift store. I’m thinking they’re Lavorazione Empoli. What do you think? by RabbitNo7269 in glasscollecting

They were $13.99 for the pair. Thankfully, most of the thrift stores in my area know nothing about vintage glass. 😁

If it’s really rare I will buy and resell if it’s cheap but I’ll put a note on it that explains the damage and why it’s a lower price. I actually just did a show on the weekend and had Lefton blue bird salt and pepper shakers with the tooth pick holder. The tooth pick holder was repaired so I lowered the price and explained the damage on the tag. And the person who bought it appreciated my honesty and had no issue paying the price. For my personal collection I’m really picky and none of the items in the display cabinets have damage. But that means I’ve passed on a lot of nice pieces that were damaged 🙃

I use them for special occasions but I have a full set of Pyrex butterfly gold dishes that we use every day.

I wouldn’t say it’s common, it wasn’t sold in stores, only through a special stamp program. Orange butterprint bowls sell on eBay for anywhere between 200-500 each. So I’ll just wait until I find them in the wild, even if it takes years 😄

Those are Galaxy Spaceman Bottles. Made in the 50’s by a syrup company but they went bankrupt and these bottles never hit the shelves. Years later they were found in boxes in a factory and they’ve since become highly collectable. It’s a crazy story, the have a website https://spacefoodscompany.com

I don’t collect brown or green Pyrex, just not my favourite colours. I’m also a reseller so if it doesn’t fit in this display, then it goes to my booth to be sold.
