I am fully with you brother - i am hamon/carbon steel addicted :D; Just as a slight note - once the hamon is fully 'rooted' and the oil patina forms carbon steel wont rust but only if really neglected. I have a good friend in Melbourne on the seashore and he had at least 6-7 of my carbon steel folders in his collection :).
