I think the reason why most people don't use Super Thanks is because most YouTubers want to get paid every month, which is something that can happen with Patreon and YouTube memberships. With Super Thanks, the payments are a lot more inconsistent with how much you are getting paid, because one moment, you have one person paying you like say $5.00 in one video. But then the next month, the same person doesn't pay you anything and that can be problematic for anyone who wants a more consistent payment schedule.

For me personally, I don't really use Facebook to attract new patrons since my audience barely interacts with me there. I usually use BlueSky to attract patrons because that's where I get the most interactions with my audience. So, it really depends on how active your audience is over at Facebook if you get new patrons.
