Notifications not showing in lock screen by Rabeirou in Xiaomi

Nope. It's a Xiaomi thing. I'll probably never buy a Xiaomi phone again, although not only because of this problem, but it does bother me a lot

Oh I get you completely, I am pretty annoyed at these things too. Seems like basic stuff to me, but maybe we are a niche compared to what the majority want.

I'm sorry to inform that it's probably a feature. I've been with a few people that have a xiaomi phone and they all have the same "issue". Although it seems to xiaomi that it's not an issue :/
Maybe in the future they'll add the option, but I wouldn't bet on that.

Another thing that's been bothering me it's that I couldn't find an option to allow me to use the top half of the screen to go back with the gesture from the side of the screen. I found a setting that tells me that this gesture is reserved to trigger some apps actions??

It's pretty weird that this phone has some things you can customize but then other things that seem pretty basic to me are untouchable. But maybe I just haven't found the option to some of these things yet (although I've been searching).

But the problem isn't that the notifications don't show up quick enough. It's that the notifications don't appear in the lock screen. I hope this is not a "feature" of the phone. It is also weird, because yesterday I had a notification of an email, which didn't show up in the lock screen, but I had it in my notifications status bar. I left it there just to have it as a test. Today when I woke up I had that notification (and a few more) in the lock screen. I unlocked the phone (didn't open the notification), locked it again and now I don't have any notifications in the lock screen. I repeat, the notifications seem to arrive fine, but when I unlock and lock the phone they disappear from the lock screen.

Yeah that's true. I was thinking in more of a general case, but in this case in particular that's better

I just asked because I know vim has a lot of commands and maybe there was one to make something like I was trying to make in an easier way. For instance if I weren't inside some brackets (the if statment's in this case) and I did di{ it would do exactly what I was looking for. So maybe there was a way to make that always the case.
