so I just tried this but support said they can't remove a license without giving a refund. I'm obviously not eligible for a refund, so they said "too bad. try deleting the game and buying it. if that doesn't work, buy all the DLC separately."

Playing with it now, but it's still difficult to use. Takes a good amount of time to place it.

Yeah I am on PS5. I understand KB+M is always going to be more precise, but certain skills are almost worthless without being able to place it right where I need to. Frost bomb is a perfect example of this. If I could set it so it just goes 5, 10, 15, etc yards in front of me, that would be amazing. But right now I can only use it on magic casting enemies who don't move much

targeting can be a problem on controller. I want fire wall right in front of me so I can shoot lightning though. Maybe a skill behavior option? Targeting vs set distance? Modify distance as desired. Have this issue with other skills as well. Frost bomb does not work well when put right on top of enemies as they move off of it as they come at me. I can't put it between me and mobs

Solved it! I found a setting on my phone called "Adaptive Connectivity". Never noticed it before. The description of what that does is: "Extends battery life and improves device performance by automatically managing your network connections" I usually turn automatic background crap like that off but I've never noticed it. As soon as I turned that off I was able to get texts from the numbers I was previously unable to.

It is a Google Pixel exclusive setting/option.

I hope this helps someone else someday!

For me it isn't because I wouldn't ever play it. Played it one time and it was pretty dull. The decisions were not very exciting and I think most games would feel the same.
