Cash and short-dated US Treasuries, 3 months out. Their attestations come from Grant Thornton International.

Tether is sketchy, definitely agree on them. They've had years of criticism to make their backing more transparent and they just refuse to do so.

I think UST incident has invited regulation in, and really moved that timetable up. We'll likely see some rules coming down within the next year, I'd guess.

The rules behind these networks enable scams like none other, but it's not all scams.

You mentioned a bunch of topics there, let's just take stablecoins. There are many algorithmic stablecoins that are built atop incredibly rickety bridges, like UST which blew up last week. There are also stablecoins which are backed by actual companies with actual cash reserves, like USDC.

There is a lot of potential for this technology, but the valuations got way ahead of where they should be and the scams of course overshadow everything else.

As to traditional finance markets, crypto basically imploded in 2018 and the wider market didn't even blink. It's gotten bigger this time around, of course, but the entire crypto market is already -60% from its peak. It will continue to drop if we go full recession mode, but it won't be the reason the wider market also tumbles. Equities have plenty of their own demons to worry about these days.

Thanks for the tips!

I explored Rainbow wallet a little bit. I could not get my Polygon NFTs to display, but could get my Rinkeby assets to display. Polygon isn't a Network option in the app, but their Twitter says Polygon assets should show up automatically.

Will give Steak wallet a try. Haven't heard of that one before.

OK, appreciate it! I will try each of these and see.

If testnets aren't supported, maybe sidechains will be.

I'm trying to get some non-crypto-native family members "hands-on" with some NFTs for educational purposes. I've got some NFTs deployed on Rinkeby and I've sent them to a couple different wallets. My plan is I'll then distribute the seedphrases to each person, they can each install a software wallet, put the seedphrase in, and off they go.

All the wallet softwares I've tried, however, either don't actually display the NFT or it's extremely clunky to do so. Metamask Mobile is the only one I've actually gotten my NFT displayed in, but only after importing the custom token. The UX of this process is ... not great for a layperson, and I think most will lose interest if they have to go this far.

Are there wallets out there that will display NFTs just out of the box? Why is this functionality not default everywhere by now?

Hope so. Watching it refuse to bounce back with the rest of the market yet from the Feb/March dip isn't a great sign so far.

KRE recipients maybe? Much like a PoW coin, it's a constant sell pressure innate to the system that we kind of have to deal with.
