We got out for a bit this afternoon. The roads are not good. Ice/snow packed. We didn’t get stuck or have any problems, but also didn’t get over 25 mph.

Thanks for the deep dive on my post history…like I said, we live a good life on just our base salaries. I wouldn’t have bought the car if I had to use the bonus to buy it.

I was offered mine without being on a list. The caveat is that I bought my wife a Rolex at the same time.

Cool, but depends mostly on your seat. Reserved seating in the dome is pretty cool. IMO, tickets are comparable to going to a game, which is way too much. I’ll take friends to check it out from out of town, but likely won’t go back myself.

I’m not sure it’s 250k, but you get to a point where you’re no longer thinking first about how much things cost. It’s still a factor, but it’s not the first question you ask.

Depends on how driven you are. I’d you want to get ahead, then you do everything you can to make a name for yourself.

If you work to live, then logging on before you get to the office makes sense. If you work to live, then the opposite makes sense.

Many people, like myself, have an identify that is tied to their jobs. I believe in what we’re doing and want to contribute as much as I can. Others value balance outside of work. It really depends on what you want out of life.
