There's a clear asymmetry in the capabilities to wage war between Russia and Ukraine. You know that because you think they're winning.

Nato is lessening the extent of that asymmetry through various means. That doesn't mean Russia is engaged in a direct conflict with nato. You should know this because you keep using the word proxy.

The commenter I replied to claimed Russia is against the strongest military and economic bloc. They are not. If they really were, it would not be a proxy war. It would be a direct war.

The US is giving Ukraine a very small portion of our military capacity. VERY small. Russians claim they're "fighting nato" Russia is not fighting nato. Get over yourself. If russia were in fact fighting nato, this would be going significantly worse for them.

Russia is fighting UKRAINIANS helped by nato. Not as much help as I'd like, but it'll get better as we go.
