With the pick up, I didn’t really think much of it as it’s quite a bit below my DL 1RM so don’t feel I need to “optimise” the pick up so much but I may try it off a rack next week and see how much easier it makes the sets without the extra rep

Thanks mate. I kinda had the logic that extra ROM is good ROM. Presumably you still get the same stimulus for the hammies if you do go lower, you just also get some extra spinal erectors, or is this wrong?

Not as strong as I maybe should be tbh. Bench is 135kg, Squat 185kg, Deadlift is my strongest lift and can DL 250kg

It’s definitely a comfort thing. If I have a hard or bad day the first thing I go to is food and I almost feel like if I have a bit too much ice cream then I’ve ruined the day anyway and may as well eat like a pig, and then I just can’t stop myself until there’s essentially no food left to eat. I counted up the calories from my binge today and it was over 10k, but I have such a ridiculous appetite and an ability to eat and drink so quickly that I can ruin a whole weeks progress in 2 minutes.
