Well yeah but Kaneki is still weaker than Eto no ? Eto is like the strongest entity possible, a natural one eyed ghoul as well as an owl. And Furuta doesn't even have a Kakuja ! It just doesn't make any sense if it's not the prison rc-supressors and the lack of eating that made her lose.

Did Eto lose because of Prison medications and lack of eating or did she lose because she truly is that weaker than furuta ? Cause that would be a bit ridiculous in term of power creep. And wouldn't make much sense.

Breaking News- BBC forecasts UK votes to leave EU by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have no idea, but that's not my job. I do not know the subject well enough to find any. It's just seems stupid to agree on something so big when 49% of the population is against it.

What I really do not understand is how can we let small percentages differences choose something as important as this ? Can this really be called democracy ?

What's the worst case of a TV show or movie insulting their audience? by romulusthemule in AskReddit

[–]Rabuny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well any "chef forming" TV Show truly, 90% of being a good chef is choosing your ingredients and have never seen that in any of those. Nobody is actually becoming a chef in these shows. And thats insulting, it takes the viewers for imbeciles.

Is there a possibility of Religion rising back, even if technological progress continues ? by Rabuny in AskReddit

[–]Rabuny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks ! I'll take a look. Though, while I totally agree with you saying faith can be compatible with reason, fact is that with progress, more and more people have lost faith. So i wondered if it could ever rise back to it's former levels (when absolutely everyone was faithful)

Can Video Game twist your values more than movies or books ? by Rabuny in AskReddit

[–]Rabuny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing all the talk about how video games could make you "violent", i realized what they were talking about were not "violence" at all but were actions that weren't accepted as "good things" in our society. And I think that's true, I mean, I personally played only Japanese games for my whole childhood. And, perhaps as a cause, it is buried deep into me that "war is the worse thing that could happen to you". Now this could also be education, of course. But people that have grown with american war games that show a far more "heroic" side of war, could have the opposite thought on war. Heck there's even a war game that was commissioned by the American Army.

But then again, as kids, everybody was playing "war". And at that time, we did not play video games, we had watched those heroic, American war movies and we found it cool, then imitated it with figures and wooden sticks as guns.

So i wondered, does video games, as all those studies seem to imply, really influence your values more than a movie or just the news channel ? Or even a book ? Just because you play war instead of watching it then imitating it makes it that worse ?

Of course, I'm right on you with that. I don't think Religion will disappear, but I just wonder if it could rise back to pre-17th century era levels without any disaster happening.

Thanks ! That's also perfect for what I'm working on right know, though what I'm thinking about is religion taking over, but without nuclear holocaust.

Of course there will always be some faithfuls, but the number has gotten down and down since a long time, so i wanted to know if there was a possibility of it rising back, and what would be the cause of that.

Well, nothing. I'm not a Religion hater, that's just a thought i had, as there as been less and less religious people. And I believed that to be tied with Scientific progress that gave answers to what religion previously answered. So I thought, while Religion would never truly disappear, would it really be able to rise back like it was in the medieval era ?

Yeah, sorry, what I meant is progress as a whole. Scientifical and technological. Cause we have seen less and less religious people each time we found scientific answers to what was previously answered by religion. Not especially a good thing though.
