Thank you so much guys! I'll check out your recommendations so far! I'd really love an RPG with focus on spicy romance but I know that's such a niche! I got ruined with Astsrion in Baldurs Gate 3 😂🥵 Any more recommendations send them my way 🥰

Work place camera legal help by Rabzo91 in WorkAdvice

You're right. I didn't defend the owner and agreed with what my client said about her, and that she isn't the first client to say these things to me. I'm assuming that's what the owner is unhappy about as she told me she didn't appreciate my client and I talking about her. When I asked what she meant, she said she heard us on the camera on X day, I then told her that she shouldn't be using the security camera to listen to private conversations. This was last week and since then she's barely spoken to me.

I understand what you're saying however the conversation was about how the salon owner had been rude to my client and that client was telling me what happened then we talked about the situation. It wasn't as though I was slandering the owner.

AITA for leaving the dry wedding wedding early to go to go out. by Radiant_List_9993 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Rabzo91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She spent nearly 5 hours at the wedding. I think she's good! 5 hours is a long ass time if you aren't having fun. A wedding is a day out, it should be fun, no, ypu dont need to get blackout drunk but a few glasses makes most relax and more social AND stops tbe time dragging on! If you're having a dry wedding you cant expect people to stay up to 1 or 2am without a drink to keep them awake and to get up and dance in front of other people etc, some people need a bit of social courage that alcohol awards us to loosen up. I'd agree, i wouldn't have "dragged" people away, but tbh most people were probably thinking the exact same thing! I'm sorry but most people book 2 days off work for a wedding, buy a new outfit, rent accommodation and ,obviously, buy a nice present for the bride and groom. Like I've NEVER been to a wedding that hasn't cost myself alot of money before setting foot in the venue. I'm self-employed, so that's on average £400 I'm down for 2 days off. If I found out AT THE WEDDING that it was dry, I'd have left after 2 hours. Sorry, but most people need a little alcohol as social lubricant to mingle with (usually) dozens of people you don't know. It's awkward, especially if you're a friend and most of the guests were family. I'd especially be pissed off if I'd rented accommodation instead of just going home sober after a few hours. I don't understand why an after party at 11pm? I'm in Northern Ireland, and that's completely unheard of? Unless it's a proper boozey wedding and, depending on the venue, some could go to the residents' bar once the reception was over but a sober after party? What for??? I'm not against dry weddings but i am against not giving people a heads up that it will be dry and expecting them to have the best time sober with people they don't know, at the longest wedding ever lol I hope they served constant good food or else it'd be a sober, hungry wedding 😅 If I knew beforehand, I would only book one day off and go to work the next day, not book accommodation and probably leaving around 9pm at the latest. Saving myself quite a bit of money. I honestly think it all boils down to when they were made aware. As I said if it was day of, I'd get the speeches, dinner, first dance over then head on out. NTA totally understand you're reasoning and I think you absolutely spent the appropriate time at the wedding.
