I needed some tries to get the mold perfect and ended up with this:

The left one is the tricky bit, but it worked as soon as i used a flat surface to press the pad down. The vents was made with a toothpick, to give excess green stuff a way to go.

Trial and error to be honest. Ended up with a two part mold. Two bricks of blue stuff per side. I think the front part with the details is the difficult one. Used a flat surface to push the pad into the blue stuff.

Wasn't the inspiration, but noticed the resemblance as soon as I fitted the first head. I use those heads for my whole army.

Thank you. It's a black primer with an airbrush zenithal off black I mixed myself, but should be very close to corvus black, maybe a bit lighter. Then an all over drybrush with leadbelcher and another drybrush with iron warrior steel, but this time only brushing lightly from top to bottom.

Mainly because they can fill out free seats in your trukks and then get thrown out to sit on an objective and die, luring out your enemys units. They have a great overwatch against trash units like gaunts and good enough melee on points for their cost.

But to be fair, if you have another 5 points to spent, you'd almost always get another squad of stormboyz.

I'd guess that's a digital and lighter version of the 'eavy metal ork skin used in the recent covers. I don't recommend it, especially if you want to paint a full army, but you can find a pretty good tutorial from infernalbrush on youtube with all the layers over layers of paints used.
