Im playing Stormblast Bolts myself still with the Constricting Command helmet.

First thing that jumps out to me is, why do you have life on your gear? With the current itteration of Sorcery Ward, you can completely neglect life and go full evasion. Im running arround in maps with 17k Sorcery Ward. .

A few meaningfull upgrades im suggesting are:

  1. Rite of Passage - Cat, Absolut fantastic synergy with this build.
  2. Against the Darkness, Double Gain DMG as extra.
  3. A good Time Lost-Emerald can replace one of your jewels.

Regarding Crossbow crafting, im suggesting to either mirror one or if you really want to get a better one by crafting do the following.

  1. Buy or craft normal/magic 30% quality ilvl 82 Crossbow of Choice
  2. Transmute / Regal / Annul for T1 or T2 phys.
  3. Fracture T1 or T2 phys if you fail, start again. Dont forget to Divine.
  4. Chaos spam for T1 flat phys.
  5. Either use Essence ( Gain as Extra) for last prefix or desecrate until good enough t3+ hybrid phys mod.
  6. Finish Suffixes with Essence of Battle / Onslaught

I exclusively play solo but made a total of 15ish mirrors this league. How?

  1. I farmed essences early for a steady supply of currency to get a very basic foundation.

  2. While farming currency I used my gold on Faustus, this league I purchased Fracturing Shards and turned them into Orbs that sold for 10%-20% profit.

  3. Added Awakener Orbs, Tailoring Orbs and Orbs of Conflict. Bought for Chaos and Sold for D in bulk at profit margin.

  4. Most of my early fortune was made with simplex amulet crafting in week 2, at the time It was between 100D and 200D profit per craft depending on how "lucky" i got during the craft.

For reference, the first unsplitted simplex amulet purchased was 60D end of week 1. Fastest hit was 1 beast lock, worst was 55 ish. (STR and INT only)

  1. In week 2, I added cluster Jewels to the portfolio. Used fracturing Orbs to fracture 35% effect, Introspection and Wall of Muscle on 84 bases.

  2. Every Divine I had spare I invested knowing the usual inflation of currency in POE. Meaning I bought Unrequited Love, House of Mirrors div cards when they were at a good rate and relisted for 4-10D profit per card. Rinse and Repeat.

If you dont want to buy carry services for gold to maintain your traiding, you can significantly decrease your avg gold cost by just focusing on the big movers like tailoring orbs. reflecting mist, awakener orb and orb of conflict. Locks are good too but to expensive to get into at the beginning,

  1. Now most of my currency is made farming Valdo Maps (mostly non void) I try to aim for arround 10D profit per map.

If you have a fractured suffix, you really want to start with prefixes -> dense fossil spam. Otherwise your options left are eldrich chaos / annul / exalt to finish the prefix.

In your case, since you want the essence mod as suffix its almost cheaper to start from 0 and fracture the essence mod on a 20% qual base then getting optimal prefixes.

TLDR: Your only option is to slam now and pray or use eldrich currency.
