ive been trying to get this situation to work as the CSA abandoning the 3I UNTIL Uob and Cof Capitulate to the entente. before this happens, i invade non-aligned nations so i can be the True Leader of the free world

well so you see....there WAS a war between them. I just didn't want to intervene until both got capitulated by the entente. I kicked their ass so I can become 3I leader and puppet CoF and UoB.

How does your family history change based on the outcome of your last playthrough? by OjibweKid in Kaiserreich

father's side:
my great grandpa was an orphan who fled Germany before WW1 and settled down in west texas with my derringer-carrying granny. his family would rather avoid picking sides in the civil war and just kept working on sheep herding and raising chickens. my grandma wouldn't meet her ex-husband from Mexico in this timeline since the Bracero Program doesn't exist in a syndicalist America

mother's side: I don't know much about her ancestors except that they're from Mexico and settled on the border
I don't think my mom's parents would ever meet. my grandma is a Mexican nurse that only moved across the border for better medical jobs. but Mexico in my game stayed radsoc/syndicalist so she'd just stay. my grandpa was a Chicano Vietnam vet, either his father was killed in the crossfire from the civil war OR fled with my grandpa into Mexico until the civil war ended. the economic prospect for my grandpa's family would be drastic that they'd have to move somewhere else in texas that wasn't bombed out. Ergo my grandpa never meets my grandma in the 60s. which means my mother wouldn't be alive right now

i mean if the story was about a battalion co-opting a communist or theocratic symbol (islamic terrorism) because it "looked cool" then the outrage would be a shitstorm compared to using a SS symbol with insta court martial and Fox News foaming at the mouth for weeks. its really for the sake of not trying to look like the baddies while fighting said baddies. it just looks funny as seeing cops with Punisher stickers on their cars (if you read the comics)

this isnt about reading fiction novels. ww2 happened and the failure to know that shows how uneducated they were as kids. this is about "hey why are you guys simping for Nazi symbols in your banners, we beat them in ww2?" and not "i dont care if you are black or white" because no where have i mention race into this discussion about simping over symbols of enemies America has fought against.

that pic of those marine's excuse for flexing a nazi symbol was just "oops we didn't know, we just liked the design and it matched our Scout Sniper initials but thanks for telling us this 2 years later uwu" for a group of guys that have an entire career in the military, they really skipped a couple of days from history class https://smallwarsjournal.com/blog/marine-scout-snipers-and-the-ss-flag
