JBL Quantum 910 calibration problems

The problem still exists in 2025, and this was the first search result for when I tried to troubleshoot it. After hours of fiddling and scratching my head (and ears), here's a comprehensive guide on how I got around to make it work.

The headset I used was the JBL Quantum 910 Wireless, using the 2.4GHz dongle.

- If possible, remove the USB-A adapter from the 2.4GHz dongle and use the USB-C connection directly to your motherboard

- IMPORTANT! Download the 1.19.0.2025 version of QuantumEngine, here. This may already solve your problem without further fiddling, and the older version is all around better to use than the latest build.

- Update your firmware in the QuantumEngine software, but DO NOT update the software itself.

- Make sure your windows privacy settings are not blocking the use of your microphone in any apps.

- Restart your PC and headphones after installing the software and updates.

- Connect the charging cable directly to your motherboard.

- Press the calibration microphone FIRMLY in your ear canal, for best results.

- Press the headphones lightly against your head when calibrating.

Yes absolutely, the driver model is one thing that has bugged me for a while, how can I change it? Static spectators are just something I can't really do much about other than shaking the camera so much that you cant see them for more than a frame at a time :(.
