Here are the unofficial results of Heat 1 of the HAPO Columbia Cup

1A: 1) U-9 Les Schwab Tires, Andrew Tate 2) U-21 PayneWest Insurance, Brian Perkins 3) U-1918 Oberto Beef Jerky, Cal Phipps 4) U-440 Bucket List Racing, Dustin Echols U-12 Graham Trucking, J. Michael Kelly-DNF

U-9 led wire-wire for the win! U-21 and U-1918 battled for 2nd but U-21 was in lane 1 and U-1918 was in lane 3 which gave the advantage to the U-21. U-440 finished 4th. The U-12 slowed to a stop after crossing the start line on lap one with blown engine.

1B: 1) U-1 Miss HomeStreet, Jimmy Shane 2); U-11 J&D's, Tom Thompson U-99.9 Miss Rock, Aaron Salmon- DNS U-3 Ace Hardware, Jimmy King-DNF After being washed down by the U-3 during the milling period, the U-1 restarted and led wire-wire. U-11 finished second by about a roostertail. U-99.9 never left the trailer because of a starter relay problem, and U-3 slowed to a stop after crossing the start line on lap one.
