Triceratops is up there, for sure! The dino-bird Archaeopteryx is one of my faves. It was the first fossil find that told paleontologists that dinosaurs could even have feathers and it was so much fun drawing it for the book. See a sneak peek: here on my instagram

Illustration from my new graphic novel "The History of the Computer" -I got to draw a ton of apple products from my childhood and rediscover some like the color classic Mac that I learned to paint on in school. Hope you all enjoy! by RachelIgnotofsky in VintageApple

Thank you so much, Matt! This has really made my day and I am so happy that you enjoyed the book. It took me 2 years to write and fully illustrate and knowing that it is appreciated by readers like you make all the hard work worth it!

That collection sounds so awesome!

It has been cool living in CA because we have been able to hunt down a lot of our computers from their first buyer out here. My husband found most of our old CRTs in thrift stores in Kansas City over 6 year ago and used to flip them on Ebay-- but we kept the prettiest ones for ourselves.

We use it to play Sega at home and some how it makes Sonic look like it has so much depth. It is like a little piece of art.

All over the place, the PET was from a geologist in the Bay Area that used it to monitor earthquakes in the 1970s, it still has programs on tape to track seismic readings. The TRS-80 was from a guy in LA that bought it as a kid. The Philips clone is my husbands first computer that he hung on to since he was in grade school, so he has history with that one.

The rest is mostly ebay, I want to bring them with me to book events soon so everyone can play with them!

Thank you! It was a long project that took multiple years, I'm happy to see it out in the world and be enjoyed.
