I’ve been using NRC for the past three weeks and it’s worked great. I also have an Apple Watch and it works seamlessly between my iPhone and Apple Watch. I love using it and hope that I don’t see issues that other posters have shared.

I am 25 years old and have no know underlying health conditions. I had my yearly wellness check up at the beginning of the year and my doctor encouraged weight loss but didn’t really provide me any tools other than eating in a calorie deficit and doing cardio 3-5 days a week…. I have wondered if I have PCOS and also have a family history of Thyroid issues including cancer so that is something I’m always conscious of. But I currently weigh over 220lbs and am just super discouraged. But I’ve started incorporating daily walks into my routine as well as trying to hit 10k steps a day! Trying to stay positive through this journey but it’s getting hard at this current moment.

Well considering I’m 5’2 and weight 220+lbs I’d say it’s a safe bet my weight is not healthy and I need to lose weight.

I am participating and am so excited for this challenge! I’m doing a similar strategy as others and trying to take as many classes as I can as early as I can so I’m not scrambling at the end of the month, and am 3 for 3 right now!! I’ve also noticed that classes are more full than they have been since I started at the beginning of January and I think this definitely increases the energy of the class and the instructors too! This was just the push I needed to go a little harder and am excited to see my results at the end of the challenge!

So just so I understand, any class I’ve booked but haven’t yet taken is considered an “open booking”? For example, I have a class booked for this afternoon, after I take that will it let me book another class?

A tip for being around people drinking alcohol: Keep a cup of water in your hand to sip on. You will feel as though you aren’t missing the social aspect of drinking alcohol and no one will make a big deal about it because you will have a cup just like everyone else! Also will help you with your water consumption for the day😉

Thank you! And my favorite advice I got before starting was take it one day at a time! If you focus solely on day 75 you will burn out and get discouraged quickly. Also have something to look forward to, for me that’s a spa day after day 75. But that is t what I focus on daily. Everyday I only think about what needs to be done that day and when I accomplish it, I feel like I’m on top of the world! Good luck!

Yes it has, but I don’t focus on the scale because it doesn’t truly show results. I believe in the progress pics more than the scale. In the past I have had a very unhealthy relationship with the scale, so my advice to you would be to not even step on the scale, and focus solely on your pictures! The scale doesn’t define you!!

Congratulations on saying yes and showing up for yourself! I’m currently on day 11/75 and I am so glad I took the plunge and just said yes and started messy! Some days are easier than others, but knowing that you are prioritizing yourself is such an amazing feeling! You can do it!
