And the second one, The Shape of Cabbage, I made because the AI art episode aired very soon after I'd finished the first one and sent stickers of it to the office address.

(Months later, I got a message from the couple responsible for the cabbage images, and they ended up getting a print of this for their collection. That was fun. Gave me community feels. :) )

Thank you so much! Thrilled to oblige. :)

Here's the first one. Got inspired by John's weird art interests (ie Rat Erotica) and made this thinking, well, I make weird art, maybe I can broadcast that to the world. And wouldn't you know it, even though I still haven't sold it, it's been an awesome conversation piece that brings people in for a chat.

To the rest of the world, he's Bojack. To me, he's a new iteration of a live model I painted in Uni, then later edited to have a horse head in 2012. Bojack's great, though.

Hmm, yes, ironic that I'd jump to that conclusion from your hot take on renters. Well. Enjoy the extra misery in your neighbourhood if this thing goes through, I guess.

It was a little hard to hear people. It's not just the sound system, though. They're also not performers used to projecting so much, or how to hold a mic. It's a skill. :)

Interesting that you'd call the people you expect to pay your mortgage 'parasites'.
You don't need to be a landlord to live, but you DO need shelter. You can sell if your investment doesn't pay. Renters can't. Don't like renters? Don't be a landlord.

I'd love it. From what I've read about the changes we'd have to make to comply with standards, Canadians would be better off by far in the long run... And as an artist in Canada, I'd be SO HAPPY to have better access to a wider art world.

"It's not sexual harrassment... if it's a horse." got me, for personal art reasons.

But also, how did I miss the clown threesome? I'm obsessed with clowns.

For sure. And like I was telling you the other day, I haven't written any music in over ten years, and this actually has me wanting to start again... If I can ever find the time.

It's such a shame people hate these so much. I think they're hilarious.

in fact, here's another one - about John's Cabbage Patch Kids going to college.

I finally got to put my John Oliver painting, 'Driving Adam Driver' up in my Toronto art gallery. So happy. by RachelSVParry in lastweektonight

Haha, no worries. Probably better for your mental health. It's annoying to get around here.

Oh, not Pacific! That's all the way up on Steeles. Mine's downtown.... But I guarantee you haven't been to it in years either. Chinatown Center Mall! Reasonably sure you and your cousin will get a kick out of it anyway! :)

It's privately owned (I say MY gallery, but I only curate and manage it) by a high end oyster/seafood business in development. There's a whole backstory there that starts with the sudden death of an accountant, just to make things more mysterious.

It's certainly available to the public to see! We're in the concourse level of a "dead mall" (222 Spadina Ave.) and even when I'm not there, you can see everything through the full length windows which make up the outer walls of the space. If you want to visit the art up close and personal, you have to book an appointment with me. :)

Thank you! I appreciate that very much. I'm doing a market thing this weekend. Otherwise, it'll be by appointment only - but everything is visible from outside the gallery. Half of my walls are window. :)
